Our story
Tom started out his career as a brick layer. Gardening was a serious hobby and he enjoyed nurturing and growing his own food and building a thriving home garden. With a love for physical work, he eventually transitioned to a field he held a deep passion for – making things grow. He developed his first successful landscaping and gardening business in 2017 in Brisbane. After deciding to leave Brisbane to be more immersed in nature, Tom fell in love with the Noosa region. He slowly established and maintained his business in Noosa while simultaneously working for other landscaping companies and refining his expertise in the field with a ‘Certificate III in Horticulture and Parks & Gardens’.
Green Thumb Scapes was founded in 2022, built on the foundation of extensive horticultural knowledge and a desire to serve the local community. Tom manages the business with his wife Anna. Tom and Anna’s aim has always been to provide a high-quality service that looks after gardens down to the soil level, so gardens can truly thrive long-term. Tom utilises the latest sustainable gardening practices and organic products to ensure your yard is safe for your pets and loved ones. With a young daughter, Tom understands beautiful gardens should not be at the expense of your families health.
